Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser using an HTML canvas. Your images are never sent to a server, so it works offline and stays completely private.

Which formats can I convert?

It reads common types like PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF and SVG, and writes PNG, JPEG and WebP — plus AVIF when your browser supports encoding it. To turn a photo into a true vector (SVG), use the Image to Vector tool instead.

PNG, JPG or WebP — which should I pick?

PNG is lossless and supports transparency (great for logos and graphics). JPG is best for photographs. WebP usually gives the smallest file at the same quality and works in every modern browser.
