How to use

  2. Set the columns and rows — Instagram shows 3 across, so 3 columns is typical.
  3. Press Split, then download all the tiles at once as a zip.

FAQ

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is sliced inside your browser on a canvas. It never leaves your device, so it works offline and stays private.

In what order should I post the tiles?

Tiles are numbered left-to-right, top-to-bottom (tile-1 is top-left). Because new Instagram posts push older ones along, upload them starting from the highest number so the grid lines up — or post each row from the bottom up.

What does “Square tiles” do?

Instagram thumbnails are square. With this ticked, the image is centre-cropped so every tile comes out square. Untick it to slice the whole image as-is, with tiles matching its proportions.
