Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser using ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device. The engine (about 25 MB) downloads once on first use and is then cached.
Which formats are supported?
It reads most common audio formats (MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A/AAC and more) and writes MP3, WAV, FLAC or OGG. WAV and FLAC are lossless; MP3 and OGG let you pick a bitrate.
Is it slow?
The first conversion includes a one-time engine download, so it takes a moment. After that, typical songs convert in a few seconds — entirely on your device.
