FAQ
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The numbers are added entirely in your browser — the file never leaves your device, so it works offline and stays private. The PDF engine loads once on first use and is then cached.
Where and how can the numbers appear?
Bottom-centre, bottom-right or top-right, in three styles: just the number (“1”), “Page 1”, or “1 / N” showing the total. They’re drawn in a clean, readable font.
Does it change the rest of the page?
No. The number is drawn on top in a small font; the existing text, images and layout are left exactly as they were.
Can I number only some pages?
Yes. Every page is shown as a thumbnail with a tick box — all are ticked by default. Untick any page (for example a cover) and it stays unnumbered, while the rest are numbered in order.
