FAQ
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The watermark is added entirely in your browser — the file never leaves your device, so it works offline and stays private. The PDF engine loads once on first use and is then cached.
How is the watermark placed?
A single line of text is drawn diagonally across the centre of each chosen page, at the opacity, size and colour you choose — subtle enough to read the page through it, but clearly marking the document.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. After you load a PDF, a thumbnail of every page appears with a Watermark checkbox — all ticked by default. Untick any pages you want to leave clean, and only the ticked pages get stamped.
Can the watermark be removed?
It’s drawn into the page content, not stored as easily-stripped metadata. It can’t be toggled off, which is the point — though, like any visible mark, a determined editor could cover or crop it.
